BLUES CONFIRM 2026 WIDER TRAINING GROUP

The Blues have confirmed their Wider Training Group (WTG) for the 2026 DHL Super Rugby Pacific season.

The group of 12 players will train alongside the full Blues squad throughout the season.

The WTG is designed to accelerate the development of players who are considered Super Rugby-ready but are not currently contracted to a main squad.

The initiative aims to strengthen the national talent pool and provide greater security and growth opportunities for athletes.

Members of the WTG can also be called upon as injury replacement players during the Super Rugby season.
