Calling all local junior rugby clubs & schools – the nib Junior $10K Relay is back!
Our Principal Partner, nib Insurance (nib), is giving eight local junior rugby clubs and schools (total) the chance to win $10,000 for initiatives that support the health and wellbeing of their junior players and local community!
Eight teams from around Auckland, North Harbour and Northland will be selected to take part in the nib Junior $10K Relay, putting their teamwork to the test during halftime at the Blues vs Hurricanes game on Saturday, 16th May 2026 at Eden Park.
The nib Junior $10K Relay is an awesome opportunity for parents, junior rugby clubs and schools to instill healthy habits in our children from a young age. One of the best ways we can support our tamariki’s health and wellbeing is by keeping up to date with their important health checks. We’re proud to partner with nib to encourage Kiwis to tackle their health issues with proactive general health screenings.
Past winners have put their $10,000 towards travel to sports camp, first aid courses, sports equipment upgrades and new rugby gear for students.

HOW TO ENTER
To register your team and for a chance to be one of the eight finalists, fill out the entry details below and tell us in 50 words or less “How would your team spend the $10,000 to support the health and wellbeing of your junior players?”
To be eligible, your team must represent a junior rugby club or school within the Auckland, North Harbour, or Northland districts. Each junior rugby club or school can only nominate one team and must have ten participants, aged between 11 and 13 years old as at 16 May 2026.
Entries are open from 8am 20th April to 6 May 2026, 5:00pm (NZST). Finalists will be selected on Thursday 7 May 2026.
nib will provide tickets to attend the Blues vs Hurricanes game on Saturday, 16 May 2026 at Eden Park for each race day participant and one parent / guardian to accompany each participant.
