A product of New Plymouth Boys' High School and Taranaki Rugby, Bradley Slater was part of the New Zealand Under 20 squad in 2019, the same year he made his Super Rugby debut for the Chiefs.

He played 68 games for the Chiefs before joining the Blues ahead of the 2026 season.

A reliable lineout thrower and strong scrummager, Slater brings set-piece accuracy, hard carrying and leadership to the front row.
