VOTE FOR YOUR BLUES LEGENDS XV

The Blues are celebrating 30 years of Super Rugby by launching a fan-driven search for the greatest players in club history, as part of a wider Super Rugby Legends XV campaign.

Blues supporters have the chance to weigh in on some of the biggest debates from the club’s history, helping determine who earns a place in the ultimate Blues Legends XV, powered by nib, across all positions.

The campaign will run in two phases and is designed to build excitement ahead of the 2026 Super Rugby Pacific season, with the first Blues game at home against the Chiefs on Saturday 14 February.

Phase one takes place at club level, with the Blues shortlisting standout players from across three decades of Super Rugby for each position.

Fans will be invited to vote on who they believe makes the Blues’ greatest-ever team, forming the Blues Club Legends XV.

Once club voting is complete, the player who tops each position in the Blues Legends XV will progress to the second phase of the campaign.

Phase two is a competition-wide vote, beginning 9 February, where players selected in each position from all 11 Super Rugby Pacific clubs will go head-to-head.

Fans will determine the greatest player in each position across the full 30-year history of Super Rugby.

To ensure the competition’s full history is recognised, one wildcard player per position will also be included from teams no longer part of Super Rugby Pacific.
