CLUB BLITZ HITS NORTH HARBOUR
The Blues got closer to North Harbour clubs this week in their annual Club Blitz on Tuesday.
The Club Blitz is an opportunity to connect with local clubs and give back to the community that continues to fuel the Blues’ legacy.
Blues players spread out across five of North Harbour’s rugby clubs - Massey, Kumeu, Takapuna, Silverdale and Marist, engaging with junior and youth players in a fun and interactive training.
Club Blitz kicked with a walk-through of club trainings, giving young players the chance to meet and interact with their heroes, followed by a signing session and a friendly game of touch.
“North Harbour clubs are an essential part of our Blues territory,” said Blues CEO Andrew Hore.
“These communities play a huge role in shaping the future of the game, and it’s important our players remain connected and visible at the grassroots level.
“Our players love getting out into the community. It brings energy to the team and reminds us of the bigger picture - the generations of players and supporters who make this club what it is.”
