EDEN PARK REMAINS HOME FOR BLUES

The Blues have confirmed Eden Park as their home venue for the next two Super Rugby Pacific seasons, following an extensive consultation process with fans and stakeholders.

All Blues home matches will be staged at Eden Park in 2026, with the exception of the one-off Super Round clash against the Reds in Christchurch on Anzac Day.

Blues GM Commercial Todd Hewitt said the decision reflects both the feedback of supporters and the club’s ongoing commitment to deliver the best possible game-day experience.

“We’re pleased to continue calling Eden Park home,” Hewitt said.

“Our fans made it clear that Eden Park provides the scale and history that matches the ambition of the Blues. We will continue to work hard around creating the best in-venue experience for our people going forward.”

Eden Park CEO Nick Sautner said the venue was proud to continue its partnership with the Blues.

“Eden Park has been home to the Blues since 1996, and we’re delighted to be hosting the team for their 2026 and 2027 seasons. We’re equally thrilled to be welcoming back the nib Blues who are building their own legacy here at New Zealand’s national stadium,” he said.

“As New Zealand’s premier rugby stadium, Eden Park is a venue where history, atmosphere and community come together. Together with the Blues we’re committed to delivering the world-class game day experiences that fans expect.”

The decision comes after a wide-ranging review, with feedback gathered from surveys, forums and conversations with players, members, commercial partners and community stakeholders.

The Blues’ 2026 campaign opens with an exciting match-up against the Chiefs at Eden Park on Saturday 14 February, kick-off at 7:05pm.
