One of New Zealand rugby's brightest young prospects, Amarante Sititi joins the Blues after a breakthrough 2025 season that showcased her immense potential as a dynamic loose forward.

A product of Auckland Girls Grammar School, Sititi made an immediate impression in her debut Farah Palmer Cup campaign with the Auckland Storm, earning both the Auckland Rugby FPC Emerging Player of the Year and Players' Player of the Year awards.

Equally comfortable at blindside flanker or No. 8, Sititi brings explosive ball-carrying, physical defence and a relentless work ethic to the Blues forward pack. Still in the early stages of her career, she has already developed a reputation for embracing the physical contest while continuing to grow every aspect of her game.

Rugby is deeply embedded in the Sititi family, with her father Semo captaining Manu Samoa and her brother Wallace establishing himself on the international stage. Amarante is forging her own path, however, and is regarded as one of the country's most exciting young talents.

The 2026 season marks her first campaign in Blues colours as she looks to continue her rapid development and help the club compete for another Super Rugby Aupiki title.
