Trystin Cook is a talented back-row forward who has progressed through the Blues development pathway, showcasing his versatility, physicality, and work rate at every level.

A product of Auckland’s strong school rugby system, Cook also represents his province in the Bunnings NPC, where his dynamic ball-carrying and defensive presence have made him a standout performer.

He brings energy, adaptability, and a team-first mentality to every game, combining power with skillful handling to create opportunities in both attack and defence.

Cook’s development through age-grade rugby and exposure to high-level NPC competition has prepared him to make a meaningful impact at Super Rugby level. He continues to grow as a player while learning from the experienced forwards in the Blues squad.

He is contracted with the Blues through until the end of the 2026 season.
