Tara burst onto the scene in her first season of Farah Palmer Cup for Northland. The young first-five/fullback comes from a big family and a Touch Rugby background.  

Turner was a recipient of a Tania Dalton Scholarship, preparing her for this next step in her rugby career. The Foundation guides athletes over three years with one-on-one mentoring and personal development opportunities.  

She was part of the Northland Kauri’s FPC Championship winning side in 2023 and will be looking to establish herself as an option in the backfield for the nib Blues in 2024.
